Kevin is a beloved child of God who is trying to remember that more of the time. He got married in the last millennium to his wife, Amy, and they have three kids. The first two – Emily and Owen – are half-Canadian (born while Kevin was in grad school in Vancouver, BC) and the third – Anna – can and could be president someday. Kevin loves Jesus and is captivated by his beauty and the beauty of the gospel story. He has shared that story by speaking, writing, singing, and acting. He has shared it as a pastor, church planter, youth pastor, worship leader, outdoor sales representative, dad, brother, son, friend, and stranger. In addition to his work at Voyage, he currently serves Jesus at WMU, working with international students with ICM and by trying to tell a God-story through creative writing. Whenever possible, he’s outside on the trails with the dogs or on a river with his kayak. His wife says he doesn’t drink any adult beverages (coffee or alcohol), but likes his caffeine cold and bubbly and would love to drink it while getting to know you.

Sara is a homeschooling momma that truly appreciates nature and how it so greatly reveals to us God’s beauty, glory, power, wisdom, presence, and, most of all, His deep love for us! Sara is a daughter of God, married to her AMAZING husband and they have been blessed with three beautiful children. Family is of the utmost importance to Sara, she loves doing and experiencing all the beauty that God has created for us all! She loves animals, being outside and working closely with nature, going on adventures with her family, exploring, enjoying time out on the water, hiking, crafts and playing games. Sara has shared her love of God through singing, acting, community outreach and helping children know Jesus. Sara and her family feel so at home at Voyage and she is SO excited that God has lead her to teach our children about God and all of the beauty He has created for us and in us, to help them develop a deep understanding and relationship with God. Sara's main goals for our Kids Crew are to inspire the children to develop and grow in their relationship with Christ, to connect in a meaningful way with their family and friends, and to strengthen our community through faith based activities and service projects.
