Global Missions

Voyage Church is blessed to be a blessing. We are excited that God has blessed us financially, so we want to be a financial blessing to others. Each year Voyage Church gives at least 10% of our income to different global and domestic missions projects. In 2015 Voyage Church sent our first short-term mission team to Guatemala, and one of our own - Brian Reynolds - was so moved on that trip that he decided to become a full-time missionary to Guatemala. In 2016 Voyage sent our first full-time missionary out to Live the Love in Guatemala.

In June of 2017 Voyage sent our second short-term mission team to Guatemala. We are hoping to be able to send a team every other year to serve in Guatemala or another country as God leads.

Brian Reynolds

Brian was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan to a loving mother and father who involved him in church life from childhood. At age 18, Brian joined the United States Marine Corps, and after 8 years of overseas military life, he returned to Michigan in 2010, open to God’s leading for whatever would come next. Then, in June 2015, he joined a church service team to the Oasis at Kids Alive Guatemala and built a playground to bless the abused and exploited girls that were rescued and brought to live and heal there.

Brian was deeply impacted as he watched the Kids Alive Guatemala staff heal, teach, empower, and pursue justice for the girls under their care using the word of God. Having struggled with PTSD from his service in Iraq, he recognized their trauma and was moved to help support their healing process. Brian will be serving at all the Kids Alive facilities in Guatemala in construction and maintenance. He says, “I am ecstatic about this opportunity, and I just know that God’s work in Kids Alive is huge not only for the children all over the world but for people like me, that get to be a part of it!”

Voyage Church is excited to work with Brian Reynolds as he continues his work in Guatemala. We are thrilled to see God move through this very passionate and caring man. Please consider sponsoring Brian in this endeavor.
