Our youth ministry for students in grades 6-12 is called "Anchor." For the Winter/Spring of 2019, Anchor will meet on the first and third Sunday of the month from 6 to 7:30 p.m., starting on January 20. Dinner is provided for the students who attend Anchor. These gatherings will be a great mix of fun, food, friendship, and faith.
Do you have a student who would be intersted in Anchor or do you have any questions? If so, contact our Anchor leaders, Adam and Alexis Arocho at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. Adam can also be reached via cell at (248)819-1776.
Adam and Alexis want to encourage parents and guardians to be as involved in their student's time in Anchor as they would like to be. Part of that is explained in the 2018-2019 Parent Packet. The Parent Packet contains uncoming meeting dates, expectations for meetings, parent information and more! We encourage parents to go over this information with their students.
All Anchor parents are also asked to download, print, and sign a permission slip for Anchor this year. The form also asks you to complete medical information for your student so that we are aware of anything that may arise at events. This form will be required to participate in bigger Anchor events (lock-ins, 30 Hour Famine, end-of-the-year party, etc.).

What should Anchor students do on Sunday morning?
On Sunday mornings we simply ask the youth (grades 6-12) to participate in the worship gathering and/or serve in one of our ministry teams. We highly encourage our youth to serve and use their gifts on our ministry teams. We aim to empower the Youth to take ownership of their faith.
